Project Overview

On June 15, 2026, we completed a deep carpet cleaning project at a home in Waupaca, WI. Several areas needed more than a standard maintenance cleaning, so we used our tools, cleaning products, and experience to provide a deeper restorative cleaning where it was needed.

The project included two areas of deep carpet cleaning, one area of maintenance cleaning, and a carpeted hallway. Using our CRB, Rotovac, cleaning products, and truck-mounted hot water extraction equipment, we were able to get the carpets clean and leave the customer happy with the finished results.

Equipment & Tools Used

To deep clean the carpets and address the heavier soil, we used:

CRB Machine
We used our counter-rotating brush machine to agitate the carpet and work cleaning products into the fibers for a deeper clean.

Rotovac
The Rotovac provided additional mechanical cleaning action and extraction in areas that needed more intensive attention.

Truck-Mounted Hot Water Extraction Equipment
Our truck-mounted system provided the heat and extraction needed to flush loosened soil and cleaning products from the carpet.

Carpet Cleaning Products & Spotters
We used pre-treatment, spot-treatment products, and other cleaning solutions based on what the carpet needed.

Our Deep Carpet Cleaning Process For Our Waupaca Neighbor

With 20 years of carpet cleaning experience and IICRC certification, we have several different tools and cleaning methods available depending on what the carpet needs. For this Waupaca project, some areas required a deeper restorative approach than others, so we combined mechanical agitation, targeted treatments, and hot water extraction to get the results we were looking for. Here’s how we approached the cleaning:

Step 1: Preparing the Carpet for Deep Cleaning

We started by preparing the carpet and applying the appropriate pre-treatment. The deeper Modern Revive areas also received professional prevacuuming before the restorative cleaning process.

Step 2: Agitating Heavily Soiled Carpet

We used our CRB and other cleaning tools to provide mechanical agitation where deeper soil removal was needed. This helped work the cleaning products through the carpet and address traffic areas before extraction.

Step 3: Treating Spots & Problem Areas

Individual spots and areas requiring additional attention were treated with the appropriate carpet cleaning products. The Modern Revive service included enhanced spot treatment and deodorizer as part of the deeper cleaning.

Step 4: Deep Cleaning With the Rotovac

We used our Rotovac where additional cleaning action was beneficial, combining agitation and extraction to work the carpet more thoroughly than a standard extraction pass alone.

Step 5: Truck-Mounted Hot Water Extraction

Our truck-mounted hot water extraction system was used to flush the carpet and extract loosened soil, cleaning products, and moisture. The hallway and maintenance-cleaning area were also cleaned using hot water extraction.

The combination of our CRB, Rotovac, cleaning products, and truck-mounted hot water extraction equipment gave us the flexibility to provide a deeper cleaning where the carpet needed it while using a maintenance cleaning approach in the areas that did not require the same level of restoration.

By the end of the project, the carpets had come clean and the customer was happy with the results. This Waupaca project shows why we keep different carpet cleaning tools and methods available rather than treating every room the same. Our experience and IICRC training help us determine how much cleaning each area needs and which tools will help us get there.
